I care deeply about this region, and I love theatre!

What could be more appropriate than for me to help increase support for our own first-rate, nationally recognized regional theatre, Electric Theatre Company.

In times of stress, theatre, the arts, and entertainment, become ever more essential to our lives. We need the opportunity to laugh, to cry, to share imagined woes being portrayed on a stage, to become lost in the magic of the theatre.

A healthy performing arts enterprise is integral to our newly re-energized Scranton, Lackawanna County, and Northeastern Pennsylvania Arts explosion. Electric Theatre Company (the new name of our old friend The Northeast Theatre) takes its place beside the Everhart Museum, the NEPA Philharmonic, AFA Gallery, the ballet companies, Choral Society, Jazz Festival and so many others. This past decade has seen a renaissance, a real renewal of local cultural endeavors.

We at Electric Theatre Company are proud to be a part of a vibrant downtown Scranton.

We cannot succeed without your continued help.
